Mention coleus and most think about brightly colored leaves and then picture those leaves on large, upright plants. Get ready for Stained Glassworks Burgundy Wedding Train. It’s a big name to live up to, but this coleus does resemble stained glass with its burgundy leaves punctuated by a lime frame. But those leaves are small, about the size of a thumbprint, with the overall height of the plant potentially reaching a foot or so. The Wedding Train moniker had us until we read that this particular coleus trails. As in cascades. So not only do you get a stunning plant, but one that sweeps the landscape like a wedding train. And if that wasn’t enough, the Stained Glassworks series was bred to tolerate full sun. This plant was discovered at Levant Village Nursery.
