Helianthus annuus 'Teddy Bear' - sunflower

Janine Pineo Photo | Helianthus annuus ‘Teddy Bear’ – sunflower

Helianthus annuus is a delightful species, with a sunny disposition and an easy-to-grow mantra. The ‘Teddy Bear’ sunflower is no exception, embracing its golden glow with fully double blossoms atop shorter stems, topping off at 3 feet, if that. Like most sunflowers, it can be sown in the garden after frost dangers have passed. The plants put on a show in late summer, a harbinger of autumn and its own golden glow.
