A Pumpkin Named Pam

Pumpkin 'Baby Pam'

Small pumpkins are a thing of beauty, and none more so than the perfect ‘Baby Pam.’ With a smooth skin, tan handle and perfect ribbing, these fruit don’t weigh much more than 4 or 5 pounds at their largest. While it is great for kids and making jack o’ lanterns at Halloween, Baby Pam’s best use is as a pie pumpkin. The stringless flesh makes for a smooth result when cooked, but it’s the sweet flavor that counts. Because of their size, they grow well in smaller gardens and will readily climb a trellis to conserve space in tight spots.
